We have now made it even easier for you and your audience to quickly filter a list.
The first version of our filter tool was hidden behind a button, so many people did not even realise it was available. It was also in an awkward position as it blocked the list content when it was open.
The new desktop filter (mobile hasn’t changed) is now positioned on the left of the screen and, other than on very narrow screens, is placed beside the list rather than on top of it. This means you can use the filter and see the list changed in real time.
The filter works the same regardless of which view you are using for your list. So, while we’re all used to the idea of being able to filter a table of data, Listium is a tool where you can filter a list even when it’s in, say, card or article view. We think the idea of a filterable article is pretty cool, and we hope you agree!
As always, we’d love your feedback on this (or any other) feature as we work hard to make Listium the best place for you to share lists with your audience and with the world.
(This is part of a series of catch-up posts covering key feature releases in late 2022 and early 2023.)
