For a long time on Listium we had the ability for YouTube videos to be embedded on your lists, but it was a hidden feature that you almost had to stumble on by accident.
We now have a dedicated video field, making it very easy for you to add a YouTube link and (optionally) a start and stop time for the video. We will then embed that video inside the slideshow tool that is used in Slide and Article views, as well as in single item popups from other views, and add a button to the video in all other views.
We have a lot of creators who are using Listium to support their YouTube channels, and we hope that making it easier to embed videos on their lists will help those creators engage with (and grow) their audience in new ways.
Notes:
- Only YouTube videos can be embedded at this point in time.
- We are planning to migrate existing YouTube links from standard link fields into the new video fields some time in the next few weeks. We will update this post after that happens.
